They say timing is everything. We truly believe that. Rodger and Jennie met the old fashioned way, online! But before they swiped right, they were both ready for something real, something special. They knew what they wanted and they were willing to work for it. Luckily, Rodger was super cute and talked about theatre in his profile, so Jennie was like “Yes, please!” And Jennie made Rodger smile with her charm and her smirk. So they both took a risk and decided to put themselves out there. After weeks of texting and talking, these two busy folks were finally able to meet up. The first date was a sushi restaurant in Chinatown followed by a competitive round of skeeball. (Jennie won!) There was good food and great converstaion. Both Rodger and Jennie were being open and honest and charming as hell. When the evening was coming to a close, they were saying goodbye as they waited by the metro for Jennie’s uber to arrive. It was crowded and loud and distracting! Not the most romantic way to end an evening, to be honest. Jennie knew she wanted to give Rodger a kiss, but was a tad too nervous to just go for it. But when her car pulled up, she panicked and planted a super awkward kiss on Rodger. It may have been awkard and funny, but it worked! Rodger and Jennie went on a second date, and a third, and so on... Over the summer, these two goofy individuals developed a close bond, shared intimate details of their lives, and fell in love, deeply. After a year and a half of dating, Rodger asked Jennie to marry him! She said YES, but only after panicking and making it super awkward again... but thats another story...
