Save the date

We met during our senior year of highschool. Both shy, young, & naive. I had my head deep in the books, eager to graduate and he the cute shy blonde was eager to talk to me. I had no idea at the time how hard it was for him to approach me till weeks after when his wingman told me that he was helping my boo build up the courage to talk to me. After I found that out…I thought “how precious”. This man had put in real effort to talk to me. Yes he was shy but oh was he brave. He asked me out in such a clever and casual way that I was no match for his charm. I couldn’t resist, he was so intriguing I immediately said yes. Who knew a single date, one simple moment, could be so life changing. From our very first date, to weeks later when we shared our first kiss…we connected in such a way that felt so effortless and warm that we never looked back, our love had truly felt like home.
