There is! It's black tie optional, so ladies can wear a dress or a nice shirt and pants while the men can wear a suit or a nice shirt and pants. We really just want our guests to be comfortable, and if you choose to stay the night in one of the cabins, make sure to bring a comfy set of clothes and shoes!
Drinking and driving is a big no! If you've had too much to drink, we've got some of the cabins set aside for you to utilize. Also, we would love for you all to enjoy what the camp has to offer the next day! Basketball, soccer, hiking trails, frisbee golf, a climbing tower... there's simply a lot to try!
The ceremony will take place at 6 so arrive about fifteen to thirty minutes before hand to get to your seats and take in the surroundings. Trust us, it'll be beautiful.
Absolutely! Considering the wedding is taking place at a camp, it would be a shame if the young ones couldn't enjoy all the camp has to offer. Just make sure they're your kids, and not some stranger's kids. That would be weird.
We do! We're not asking for a lot, as you'll see, since we already live together. Primarily it's stuff that we want, more than need. What we are mainly asking for, however, are monetary contributions for starting our married lives together. You can contribute whatever amount you want - no matter how big or small - because we will truly appreciate any amount. (Yes, even if it's just a dollar)
We thought long and hard about this, and came to the decision of the wedding being a BYOB event. We have no idea what kind of alcohol everyone would enjoy, nor how many drinks everyone would have. By being a BYOB wedding, you are sure to have however much alcohol you would want, because you were the one to bring it. We will have champagne for toasting, of course, but that is it. Otherwise, there will be tea, water, and soda available.
