Question

How do I get on base for the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a guest list at the gate. The guard or the visitors center will have that list and be able to allow you access. If the driver has a military ID, you should be able to go on base without having to stop by the visitors center.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

The doors will officially open at 12:30. Please make sure you check traffic and give yourself enough time to get on base. If you do not have a military ID, allow yourself extra time for getting on base.

Question

How far is the reception?

Answer

The reception is 10 miles down the road. It will be about a 20-30 minute drive. Doors open at 3pm.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you please do not take photos during the ceremony. When the photographer is getting shots that involve the crowd, we don't want everyone pictured on their phones. ESPECIALLY when the bride makes her entrance. Enjoy the ceremony with your eyes, not your screen. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take all the photos you want, and at the reception as well!

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

For the Marines attending: Yes. There will be one hour of an open bar. All other hours will be a cash bar.

For all the days along the way
