Rocky was born and raised in Philadelphia. After graduating high school, he embarked on an academic journey to Arizona where he would obtain a degree in Engineering. Once graduating, he secured a full time job that led him to Dallas, Texas, and allowed him to pursue a Masters degree in Network Engineering. It was during this chapter of his life that he would meet a lovely lady — a moment that would change everything.
Bride
Danni is a native of the Rio Grande Valley, with roots tracing back to Veracruz, Mexico. After earning a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from her local university, she embarked on a career path that led her to Dallas, Texas. It was in this city that she serendipitously met the love of her life, marking the beginning of an extraordinary journey.
Best Man
Brandon and Rocky's journey began during their freshman year at Arizona State University, where they not only became fraternity brothers but also forged an unbreakable friendship. The challenges of navigating college life together, especially as roommates during the unique circumstances of Covid, only deepened their bond. A California native, Brandon has returned to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he has established a thriving career in real estate.

Dr. Rossy was born in Mexico where she spent the majority of her childhood. At nine years old, she had the great fortune to be blessed with a little sister (Danní). A few years later, the family moved to the Rio Grande Valley where Rossy would be able to pursue higher education. Boasting of a PhD in Linguistics, several published books and prestigious awards as well as a TEDx Talk, Rossy also happens to be the best older sister the world has ever known.

Gerald and Rossy's love story began during their college years. Often chaperoned by Danní, their relationship has flourished over 18+ years, with Gerald becoming more than Rossy’s husband—he is now an integral and beloved member of the Lima family. Having witnessed Danní's journey and growth, Gerald is a cherished brother and an inspirational figure, driven by his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for literature through his Latino Book Review platform.
