A wonderful trip back through time! Great for a half day indoors. This museum houses a world-renown collection of dinosaur fossils as well as special traveling exhibits and is very interactive.
A favorite of the Bride and Groom. The Aviary is not only home to our Ceremony, but was also where we got engaged! As an AZA accredited facility, the Aviary is home to many rare birds from all over the world and a crucial part of many Species Survival Plans.
The Tabernacle at Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake is truly an architectural marvel. Free tours including demonstrations of the amazing acoustics are available daily. Church membership not required! :)

A bit of a further drive from town, Antelope Island State Park is well worth the trip. The Island has great hiking trails and the opportunity to see bison, pronghorn along with beautiful views of the Wasatch Front!
Donut Falls, located in Big Cottonwood Canyon offers a fairly easy hike with a unique waterfall. This hike can be exceptionally crowded, but the trailhead has lots of parking and pit toilets.
The Silver Lake Visitor Center is an easily accessible way to view the beauty of Big Cottonwood Canyon. The Silver Lake trail is partially a boardwalk and is less than 1 mile long. There are many options to extend your hike. Likelihood of seeing a moose here is high!!!
Another short hike with a BEAUTIFUL alpine lake. There is a small visitor fee.
