Am I supposed to bring a gift?

Answer

We STRONGLY encourage wedding themed cards and will have a box available for drop off at the venue. If you're feeling extra generous, please visit our registry page to support our honeymoon fund. Thank you!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have enhanced our wedding experience with a professional photographer. We appreciate our guests putting their phones on silent or powering down during the ceremony.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Can I bring someone with me?

Answer

Our venue and photographer have strict policies on guest count. There are specific guests we've allowed plus one's. If you're not sure if you're one of those guests, please reach out.

Is this adult only?

Answer

We appreciate our guests finding care for their children, so that we all can enjoy an adult-only event.

What should I wear?

Answer

This is a formal / black tie event. We appreciate our guests wearing suits and gowns. This event will be outdoors, weather permitting, we recommend wearing flat shoes and bringing a jacket and umbrella.

Where will I park?

Answer

The castle offers ample parking, though if you can, we recommend carpooling with close friends and family members who will also be in attendance. Bridal party will be expected to park near the garage and the remainder of our guests have parking along the driveway to the left of the property. Once the top hill parking spaces are filled, there are clearings along the driveway that you may park in.

Is that the venue?

When you're arriving, you will see two white concrete balls on either side of the drive way along with a small white sign that says, "wedding". The drive up to the castle is a 1/2 mile.

What time should I arrive?

We appreciate our guests arriving 15-30 minutes early so that you have ample time to participate in our welcoming, use the restroom and find your designated seats.

Will alcohol be provided?

Answer

We are accommodating our guests with self-serve white and red wine, along with a small array of beer options.

Is the ceremony and the reception at the same location?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be at the castle. The ceremony will take place up the hill beyond the brick staircase. The reception will take place on the lower lawn, before the brick staircase.
