For those that don’t know, Thomas and Rochelle actually met in San Dimas, CA. Their friends who happened to be neighbors introduced them in high school. They were good friends (some might say crushes) for many years before deciding to date. Oddly enough, they became extremely close talking on the phone almost everyday while Thomas was living in Miami, FL and Rochelle still in SoCal.

Thomas and Rochelle officially became a couple on September 27, 2010. Yes, they have been dating for 13 years, but who’s counting? On their ten year anniversary, Thomas booked a room at the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach. He told Rochelle he had a wonderful day planned which consisted of a relaxing day at the beach (if you know them, you know the beach is their favorite place), a light lunch, professional photos (this was Thomas’ “anniversary gift” to Rochelle), and a nice oceanview dinner in the evening. Thomas told Rochelle he had to meet the photographer downstairs while she finished getting ready (which is nothing out of the ordinary for them). When Rochelle walked down to meet Thomas at the fountain in front of the hotel, he got down on one knee. After they cried, hugged, and Rochelle said “YES!”, their families popped out of the bushes yelling “Congratulations!!” to the both of them. Thomas had planned more for their anniversary than she could have imagined.

We know time is of essence for all our family and friends. We would like all our guests to please RSVP on or no later than the 15th of July. We understand that date is right around the corner but so is the wedding and we need a final head count by this date. We will be very strict on this date. Accommodations will not be made for anyone due to needing the final head count by 11:59pm on July 15th. We love all of you and hope to see you all on 8-24-24 to start the next chapter of our lives.
