Drew and Rochelle were introduced in early 2021 through mutual friends. Rochelle moved to Greeley, CO in 2020 to start her career as a large animal Veterinarian. Drew moved to Denver in 2019 to follow his job in oil field sales. They started traveling back and forth on weekends to see each other. It wasn’t long before there were no weekends apart. They always found something exciting to do - even with almost zero planning. They made the best memories when they weren't even trying. Rochelle brought Drew hiking and afternoon brewery tasting (the best part). Drew took Rochelle to Red Rocks concerts and stand up comedy. Soon the weekends weren't long enough and they started traveling mid week just to spend more time together. Once the puppies came along and a long trip with family, Drew knew that this was his forever and started to plot… The Proposal Drew knew what needed to be done in order to make Rochelle his wife. First, he needed to speak privately with his future father-in-law. So, he casually suggested a trip back to Minnesota, where Rochelle called home. After a successful trip and Drew cornering her father - he had permission and was ready to ask! Drew had been trying to plan the perfect engagement. First, he thought he would use the dogs to ask! No, he would make their favorite meal and sneak it the food! No, he couldn’t do that to her...or the ring. Drew wanted to make it perfect, but planning something seemed to take the fun and excitement out of it. Then he remembered, their best memories were spontaneous - he couldn't wait any longer. Drew walked into his boss’s office and said "Hey, I’m heading out and I won’t be back until maybe tomorrow." His boss responded, "Sure, no problem, where are you heading." … "I’m going to go propose to my future wife and I can't wait any longer." Drew started the drive up to Greeley with nervous excitement - never letting her know he was on his way. Drew walked in and surprised Rochelle. She said, "What the hell are you doing here?!?" She was in a bath towel and Drew had scared her senseless. Drew laughed as he said, “Go change into some clothes.” As she changed, he set up a camera that she wouldn’t be able to see. When she came around the corner, Drew was on one knee. He asked the most important question, to the most important person…and she said, YES!
