Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Doors will open and seating will begin at 3:30 p.m. The venue has very strict rules about guest arrival and ceremony start time. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 p.m., and guest will not be seated at that time. The venue will not allow guest access to the venue prior to 3:30pm. *We do have a room block for a hotel located about 5 minutes from the venue. Please see the "travel" table on this website for more information.

Do I need to RSVP to attend?

Answer

Yes. RSVP is required to confirm your attendance. Please RSVP using the QR code on your invitation or the "RSVP" tab on this website. You must RSVP by August 30, 2024. Due to event requirements we are only able to accommodate those who are listed on the invitation and RSVP. Please keep in mind that the RSVP option closes after the deadline. We look forward to celebrating with you! See you soon!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

While we appreciate the overwhelming support for our union, unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate guests specifically listed on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Do you have a recommended hotel?

Answer

Yes, we have reserved a room block at a discounted rate at the Courtyard Houston Heights. Please check the "Travel" tab on this website for more information and to reserve a room.

Can I bring children?

Answer

We absolutely adore children, and love to include them in other celebrations. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate them at this event. We appreciate the special care and time taken to make arrangements. Thank you for understanding!

What is the attire?

Answer

We kindly request that guest wear formal attire. Thank you! *Several guest have requested color scheme ideas. Please consider shades of brown hue for women (brown, tan, beige etc.), evening gown, and dark suites or tuxedos for men.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Yes, please!! You are encouraged to take lots of photos. Our only request is that you share your photos of our special day with us and please be mindful of the professional photographers and videographers. Thank you for helping use gather lots of beautiful memories of our special day!! *You will be asked to refrain from taking pictures during a certain part of the ceremony and enjoy the special time with us.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Cocktail hour will begin immediately following the ceremony in the lobby area. Please use this time to help us capture memories of all of our guests, and stop by the photo booth for a guest picture. Thank you for helping us make wonderful memories! Have fun!

What should I do if I cant attend?

Answer

Please let us know as soon as possible, by responding "NO" to the RSVP page, so we can make adjustments and plan accordingly. If you RSVP "YES" and you are no longer able to attend, please change your RSVP to "NO" on this website site to help us with arrangements. Thank you so much for your help!

Answer

Parking is free for guest, and located directly across from the front of the venue.

Answer
