Yellowstone National Park
YNP is world renowned for a reason. If you've got an extra day, we recommend taking a drive through the park!
Hiking!
Bozeman offers some incredible trailhead access, and it's all just a short drive from town! Some of our favorite, most accessible recommendations are "The M Trail," "Drinking Horse," and "South Cottonwood Trail."
Museum of the Rockies
Dinosaurs! Montana is also renowned for its rich history of dinosaur and fossil discoveries! Including some of the most significant finds in paleontology, like the first T-Rex skeleton. MOR offers an excellent showcase of these findings and more!
Camping
As you'd expect, there is also a whole host of camping access in the area! We love Hyalite which is south of town in the Gallatin Range and has lots of gorgeous sites. We also love the Battle Ridge and Fairy Lake campsites, they're in the Bridgers right near the ski area! Beware because campsites tend to fill up quickly! And also bears
Hot Springs
There are some great options for a quick soak in the area! Bozeman Hot Springs is located in Four Corners, a 15 minute drive west of Bozeman. If you've got more time, Chico Hot Springs, Yellowstone Hot Springs, and Norris Hot Springs are all great options, and they're all within an hour drive from town! Norris is our favorite to frequent :)
Downtown Bozeman
Take a walk through fabulous downtown Bozeman! There's great food, shopping, and plenty more to explore!
Fishing
There's also easy access to world-class waters like the Gallatin, Madison, and Yellowstone rivers! Fly fishing is most common in the area, check the link for some recommendations.
