Onto the next chapter....

Even though they went to the same high school and had the same friends, neither of us remembers meeting each other! We didn't meet until Bridesmaid Jensa’s 21st birthday party. As the first two to arrive, we were treated to a few very awkward minutes in absolute silence. Despite this, the rest of the party group took it upon themselves to get us together!

Just over a month after the birthday party, we had our first date. We ate the one thing off the menu that Katie could have, followed by coffee and walking around the downtown area.

The long hours of movie-watching, trips to Noodles and Company until they knew us so well the managers were on the watch for Katie's celiac disease, and many trips to get coffee worked their magic!

Taylor talked Katie into taking a walk out at Palmer Park to take some cute couple pictures. While looking at the clear view of the mountain, Taylor re-positioned Katie (for the secret photo takers to get a direct shot) and asked the big question! Of course the answer was "Yes!!"
