Rocco and I met in August of 2013, not aware of how much our lives would change. Shortly after meeting, our friendship bloomed into something more. We realized that we shared many of the same core values and complimented one another's personalities. We helped each other grow into adults by supporting one another through trying times and celebrating triumphant ones. Both of our families have always welcomed us with open arms and helped us navigate life as a couple. Before we knew it, the years had flown by.

Rocco surprised me by proposing during a small intimate gathering of immediate family and close friends. I was very shocked even though he had been acting extremely weird all morning. In the car, he was fidgeting with the radio, pulling his sleeves up and down, and worried about being late! (shocker). My first reaction when I saw him down on one knee was "Is this really happening right now?!" Of course, I happily said "Yes!" marking this day as the first one in many towards our life together. Family helped to make this day special by coordinating the surprise and providing a celebration after the proposal. We are absolutely ecstatic to be engaged and cannot wait for the wedding. We're so excited and grateful to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
