The location of our first date (and numerous subsequent dates), our engagement photos, and the annual Milwaukee Film Festival! Built in 1927, this historic cinema palace is the greatest place to see a movie. Will worked here for a few years and now Robyn works here. (If you decide to see a movie here, PLEASE contact Robyn for free tickets. She loves getting people into movies for free.)
Another frequent stop on many Will + Robyn dates! Established in 1915, the Downer Theatre is Milwaukee's oldest operating cinema. Robyn currently works here, too! (If you decide to see a movie here, PLEASE contact Robyn for free tickets. She loves getting people into movies for free.)
An absolutely gorgeous historic home-turned-museum located on a bluff above Lake Michigan. Wander the ornately decorated rooms of the villa, check out their seasonal art display, and be sure to check out the stunning courtyard and gardens!
Walk "the streets of Old Milwaukee", hang out with the butterflies in the Vivarium, or visit the world’s first habitat diorama! All of this and more at the Milwaukee Public Museum- and just in time! Because they're tearing it down in 2026 :-( Go check out the three floors of exhibits that this unique Milwaukee gem has to offer.
At the very least you MUST drive past the Milwaukee Art Museum, if only to admire the unbelievable architecture. But actually you should go inside and take a look at the incredible art on display. This is the largest art museum in the state of Wisconsin and one of the largest art museums in the United States!
