What kind of food will you have?

Answer

We'll have a taco truck, Indian food, cake, and so much ice cream. There will be lots of options and all food will be labeled. This will include vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, and nut free options.

What time should I arrive at the event of the year (aka our wedding ceremony)?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 2:00 PM. The ceremony will begin at 2:30 PM.

How do I get to the reception?

Answer

The reception venue is around 2 miles from the church. There is plenty of parking at the Cookery or it's a short Uber/Lyft ride from the church. The reception begins at 3:30 and the wedding party will arrive around 4:30. You are welcome to head directly to the reception venue or take a small break in the afternoon. There will be a taco truck starting at 3:30 in case that influences your decision : )

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking lot at the Durham Nativity School and nearby street parking. There is parking within two blocks of the Cookery at the Emily K Center (904 W Chapel Hill St, Durham, NC 27701).

Semi-formal. But we’ll love having you there regardless of what you’re wearing.
