FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Thursday 1st May, 2025. Unfortunately, any late RSVP's will be considered as unable to attend. This is due to us needing to give final numbers to our venues that cant be altered. Please advise how many of your invited party will be attending when you RSVP.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests will have access to the location from 3 pm and the ceremony will be starting at 3.30 pm. Please be seated by 3.15 pm.

Question

What time does the reception start?

Answer

We ask that everyone makes there way into the Elite Room from 5.30pm. Dinner will be served not long after arrival so out of respect to the chef please try to be seated by 6pm.

Question

What can I do between the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

We would love if everyone stays at Lords Estate after the ceremony so we can take some photo with you all! Due to venue requirements there will be no food or drinks on the grounds, however there is beautiful places to take photos. If the weather isn't on our side we will be taking the photos inside and then making our way to The Hudson. The Hudson has a sports lounge and covered outdoor area that guests are welcome to make use of while waiting. Our photograher will be taking photos at both Lords Estate and The Hudson so you will have time to get photos with the Bride and Groom. Transportation between the 2 venues can be organised and will start at 4.30pm. Please advise either the Bride or Groom if you require transport.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that everyone is dressed in smart clothing. Winter jackets are totally acceptable! Ladies: Please refrain from wearing any white dresses.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to venue restrictions, we can only have a certain number of guests celebrating with us. For this reason we ask that only the people listed on the invitation attend.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your child is on the invite you are welcome to bring them. If you want to have a night off to let your hair down that is ok as well!

Question

Are food and drinks provided?

Answer

The Bride and Groom will be providing an Entree, Main Meal and a fruit plater with dessert. There will be a bar tab that covers house wine, house beer and soft drinks only. Once the tab is finished subsequent drinks will be at guests own expense. The bar tab will take affect from when the Bride and Groom arrive, any drinks bought before then will be bought at guests expense.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Answer

Your presence and love is all that we ask for. However, if you are wanting to gift us something there will be a wishing well at the reception.
