Question

Where is the best place to stay?

Answer

You can stay anywhere you would like! We have a block of rooms set up at the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. To book a room use link: https://reservation.outrigger.com/?adult=1&arrive=2021-12-18&chain=18497&child=0&currency=USD&depart=2021-12-19&group=211218ROBY&hotel=66403&level=hotel&locale=en-US&rooms=1&template=group Our families will be staying near the Waikiki/ south shore area of O'ahu. The wedding venue, Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch, is located about 50 minutes ( 23 miles) from Waikiki. We will have a shuttle transporting guests from this area to the wedding venue on the day of the wedding. There are so many hotels in the Waikiki/ Honolulu area with a wide range of rates. If you need suggestions for places to stay, reach out to us!

Question

Where should I fly into?

Answer

Fly into the Honolulu International Airport on O'ahu, Hawaii. This is about 10 minutes from Waikiki Beach and 10 minutes from downtown Honolulu.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We are requesting cocktail/ Hawaiian formal attire at the wedding ceremony and reception. The ceremony and reception will take place on a grassy lawn so avoid pointing high heels so you don't sink into the ground! It will most likely be 70-80 degrees with a chance of tropical showers!

Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

We would suggest that you do rent a car! You will want to see as much of the island as possible during your trip. Beaches and activities are all accessible by car and make things a little more convenient. Although UBER and Lift are great ways to also get around! Here is a great option for affordable car rentals : https://turo.com/ We recommend booking early as they is a shortage of rental cars on the island.

Question

Are children allowed at the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

If you are coming with your family we are happy to see you all there!! All are welcome! We will have many children present! IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The venue is completely outside however, there are indoor bathrooms and the indoor bridal suite can be available for breastfeeding mothers and/or for sleeping babies. We will have shuttles to transport guests to the wedding location from Waikiki area and back. If you would like to drive yourself to the wedding venue- there is plenty of parking at the location. Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch is 23 miles from Waikiki area. Please let us know if your children will be attending.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Are there any wedding event aside from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! We will have welcome part at Maui Brewing Company in Waikiki Beach on Sunday, December 19th at 7pm. The day after the wedding, we will have a beach picnic at Ala Moana at 11am! Bring a lunch, beverages, and let's all chill at the beach !

Question

How long should I stay?

Answer

It's completely up to you! Olivier, Remy, and myself will be staying through Christmas- so feel free to spend the holidays with us! Many guests are choosing to arrive the week before the wedding and leave before Christmas to spend the holiday at home with family.

For all the days along the way
