Travel Note
1. From Main Street downtown, head north on 395 2. Turn right onto US-6 towards the Grocery Outlet. 3. In 1.2 miles from the Grocery Outlet turn left onto Five Bridges Rd 4. Continue on Five Bridges Rd, it turns into Jean Blanc Rd as it curves past a gravel/cement factory. 5. At 2.5 miles the pavement turns to a 2WD dirt road, there is a large intersection here. Continue straight onto Casa Diablo Rd, up a small hill. 6. Take Casa Diablo Rd for 3.5 miles and turn right (there will be a sign directing the turn) 7. Drive to the end of the road, there are some turn outs for parking. PLEASE take care to not drive off the road and crush plant life. Click the link below for a pin drop of the turn on Google Maps

If you plan to drive from the Bay Area be sure to check road and pass closures. Google maps may not have up to date information. Tioga Pass (SR 120) through Yosemite National Park is the fastest way, but be sure to check that the road is open. Alternative routes include- Sonora Pass (SR 108), Luther Pass (SR 88) or down south through Bakersfield. As we approach the date we can provide updates. Mammoth Airport: 45 minutes to Bishop, flights are often delayed or canceled due to weather Reno-Tahoe International Airport: 3.5 hr drive to Bishop LAX: 5.5 hr drive to Bishop, depending on traffic! McCarran International Airport: Las Vegas is a 5 hr drive to Bishop
