Are We Registered?

Matt and I are so excited to see you on our wedding day - your presence is a present to us. For those of you wanting to get us a gift, that’s very sweet of you, but please don’t. I am begging you, don’t!! Matt and I both have collected all the physical items we need – and many more we don’t need – over the past nine years. Our goal these days is to actually downsize our possessions in this world! However, if you still feel so inclined to offer a token on our big day, we would always appreciate a small donation to our honeymoon travel fund. We will be taking off for a 2-week road trip following the wedding in true Robyn and Matt style!! Also, if you have a very special gift you would like to share with us - we will gladly accept it. I just do not want people to feel obligated to buy us anything!!!

Please RSVP via this website to the ceremony. I have done my best to add all names of family members - but I am sure I missed a few. Also, we would both love if you brought a plus one or additional significant others regardless if they are listed or not. Please just email me at robynlynnwheeler@gmail.com to add anyone not listed by name on the invite!!! The more the merrier - I just want to make sure we have enough tables and chairs set up!!!

Will we be feeding you?!

Yes - we will be having light snacks, pot-luck style, throughout the evening. However, we will NOT be serving a full meal. You may choose to eat dinner prior to the start of the wedding, but please know we will have plenty of finger foods, cakes/cookies/bars, and other appetizers available. We will be providing a small supply of beer, wine, and soda. Water and coffee will also be available. I will be reaching out directly to locals for support in our "pot-luck" - if you are able and willing to help contribute a dish please let me know. Please watch for an email or Facebook message about this :)

Robyn will be in a white dress - Matt in a suite - You will be wearing whatever you are comfortable in. Think on the slightly dressy side of casual.

Photos during the ceremony

It is very important to Matt and I that you refrain from taking cell phone pictures during the ceremony - take as many pictures that you want before and after - but leave the ceremony to the professional. Because the layout and lighting of the room one brightly lit cell phone could ruin the perfect photo from our amazing photographer (Alex). Let the photographer capture how the moment looks - please just sit back and capture how the moment feels!!! We will remind everyone prior to the ceremony but please know this is VERY important to us!

Parking
Answer
There should be plenty of parking in a lot nearby as well as the surrounding streets. Please note - it is in busy urban area so we just recommend people keep that in mind by locking doors and not leaving valuables in their vehicles. We actually will have people volunteering to keep an eye on the parking lot throughout the evening but better safe than sorry.

The wedding and reception will be held in a place that is near and dear to our lives - the rehearsal space for our Children's Theater, Young Artists Initiative. Many of our favorite memories and relationships were born out of this space. So when we started thinking about where to hold our wedding - it was imperative that we host this day with focus on the people involved and less about putting money into the decorations! It is a quirky, non traditional setting, but would you expect anything less from us!! Please note - it is a shared community center and there may be other meetings/events in this space the same evening. It is a vibrant and diverse community - one we are so proud to be a part of.
