In August of 2015 Erin and Robyn first locked eyes in Oh!Shea's bar. They shared pitchers of beer and baskets of fries with mutual friends until early in the morning. After months of spending unlimited time together being "just friends" and pretending like this is how they felt about every "girlfriend" they had in the past Robyn finally made a move. With some liquid courage and sick beats spun by no other than DJ Rumble (our Officiant) Robyn told Erin how she felt. Before Robyn could even get the words out Erin said "I know, me too"... so it's safe to say the rest is history.

As Erin's 30th birthday was quickly approaching Robyn decided it would be the best time to pop the question. Robyn had to go on a few secret happy hours to make sure that the Survivor themed birthday planning was going smoothly and that there were no holes in the surprise proposal plan. They drove up separately to Erin's parent's cottage on Lake Ontario, leaving Robyn with a 6 hour nerve racking drive and Erin with a care free relaxing one. Once Robyn arrived to the Lake House she hid the ring by the water (not too close thankfully) and waiting as patiently as possible for Erin. Once she arrived, Robyn pretended to have some car gossip to share with her, and guided her down to the water. Robyn said a ton of really smooth and romantic things - like "the water looks pretty flat huh?" and "boy, you sure look beautiful today". Then reached down into the bushes, grabbed the ring, and asked the easiest question of her life "Will you marry me?". ***SPOILER*** SHE SAID YES!!!!!!! Friends popped bottles of champagne and we celebrated the entire weekend!
