We took a little extra time putting this together as we thoughtfully considered whether to plan a celebration with family and friends this year. While we would truly love to celebrate with everyone, this season of life has brought some hurdles as we pursue our hopes of starting a family, and we ultimately decided it felt right to prioritize this next chapter for now. We do hope to come together in the future, whether for a celebration or a vow renewal once this next chapter unfolds. We're so excited to finally share everything with you. Thank you for being part of our lives and for celebrating this special moment with us, whether near or far.
We first met while living in Florida around 2007–2008, but life eventually took us in different directions when Robyn moved back to Wisconsin in 2009. Although we lost touch for many years, we unexpectedly found our way back to each other more than a decade later. During the pandemic, Robyn spent extended time working remotely from Florida, giving us the chance to reconnect. What started as catching up quickly turned into something more, and we officially began dating in the spring of 2020. For the first time, the timing felt right. Not long after, Corion made the move to Wisconsin, and we've been building our life together ever since.
Corion grew up in Texas, spending time in Hughes Springs, Lubbock, and Arlington. During his senior year of college, he participated in the Disney College Program in Orlando while studying finance. After completing the program, he returned home to finish school and graduated with his finance degree. A few months later, he decided to permanently move to Orlando, where he began building his career in banking. He recently celebrated 20 years with Chase and now works as a Business Banking Manager, serving several branches in the Milwaukee area.
Robyn is originally from West Bend, Wisconsin. After spending many spring breaks in Florida with her grandma, she fell in love with the sunshine and decided to move there shortly after high school. While living in Florida, she worked at Florida Hospital and began her college education before eventually returning to Wisconsin in 2010, where she completed her business degree and still lives today. She works in healthcare administration and finance at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she manages budgets and strategic investment funds for the Department of Pediatrics. She also runs a travel business specializing in destination weddings and group vacations at luxury all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean.
We’re both busy with our careers and enjoying this season of life as we focus on building our family and what’s ahead. Corion stays busy with work and enjoys staying active in several golf leagues, while Robyn balances her main career with side ventures. We share a passion for traveling, investing, trying new restaurants, cooking together, and being with friends and family. We also love being outdoors and especially enjoy taking advantage of everything Wisconsin has to offer during the warmer months- camping, gardening, biking, golfing, hiking, spending time at the lake, and enjoying Milwaukee’s many summer festivals. When winter comes around, we like to travel to warmer places like Florida, Georgia, and Texas to spend time with Corion’s family- or anywhere we can find some sunshine. Over the past year, we’ve taken advantage of a few travel opportunities and visited places including San Diego, Orlando, Dallas, Cabo, Greece, Portugal, Hawaii, and Savannah.
We’ve had some friends and family ask about a registry, so we’ve included a link in the menu for those who have expressed interest. While any gift is sincerely appreciated, we truly don’t expect anything at all- your love and support mean the most to us.
