Dresscode?
Answer
The dress code for the wedding is formal. It’s a garden wedding on a farm, so while we encourage elegant attire, please keep in mind that walking in stiletto heels may be challenging on the natural terrain. Pull out those fancy dresses and suits you never get to wear! No jeans.

Bar?
Answer
Drinks will be served during canape´s. A bar service will not be available at the reception. We will be providing champagne and wine for your enjoyment during dinner, but strongly encourage you to bring a big cooler box filled with drinks of your choice that will keep you partying all night. Put it on the bus when you leave town. Upon arrival to the farm your cooler boxes will be taken to. the reception venue so please ensure your cooler is clearly marked before you leave the hotel!

In April, Malelane typically enjoys warm days with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 35°C, and evenings temps around 15°C to 25°C. While rainfall is less likely, a light jacket is recommended for the evening if you get cold easily.

Can we drive ourselves?
Answer
There will be parking at the 'Atchar shed' for everyone who would rather drive themselves. Please wait there to be shuttled up to the venue. The farm roads are small and will become congested if everyone drives their cars up to the venue.

Cooler box?
Answer
Please stock up your cooler box and pop it in the bus when you leave Rio Vista. There will be someone waiting on the farm to take them directly to the reception. We will provide ice for all your drinks. You will receive a sticker with your name so you know which cooler box is yours! Make sure you get this done before you get on the bus.
