FAQs

Here are some important questions you may be thinking. If you have others please feel free to reach out directly to us!
Question

Parking

Answer

There will be very limited parking at the house with some street parking available. Carpooling and Uber are preferred.

Question

Ceremony and Reception Location

Answer

The ceremony will be held down by the creek and the reception will be along the top shelf of our property. Please remember that the ground may be unsteady so shoes such as heels may not be the best fit!

Question

Arrival Time

Answer

Our home is your home on our big day! Please arrive in time to be seated for the ceremony to begin promptly at 5. We will have welcome drinks and a guestbook photo booth set up, so arrive in time for that! I would suggest 4:15-4:30. Cocktail 30 and reception to follow!

Question

Dress Code

Answer

The dress code is garden party casual/semi-formal. Please no jeans. We recommend comfortable, close toed shoes, as we will be outdoors.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event with the exception of children of the family. Our hope is that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us properly.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Question

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We are planning to have a beautiful Italian dinner with bread, salad, and pasta catered by Maggianos.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Absolutely! We will start off the evening right with a choice of beer and espresso martinis to welcome you to our celebration. Our bar will be stocked with beer, wine (red & riesling), seltzers, and champagne to accompany our array of desserts. Of course, we will have soda, tea, water, and lemonade for those who choose to limit their alcohol! If these options don't satisfy your taste buds, you are welcome to BYOB--We want you to enjoy every moment!!

Question

Hotels?

Answer

We've blocked reservations for our guests at the Hilton Garden Inn and the Comfort Inn & Suites in Gallatin, TN. First come, first serve should you want to reserve a spot. You can see more details on how to secure the discounted rate on the "Travel" page!

Question

Do you have a registry for gifts?

Answer

The most important thing is to have you with us on our special day. No gifts are expected, but if you'd like, a contribution towards our honeymoon fund would be truly appreciated. Venmo: @Robyn-Parten
