Lake Tahoe is a beautiful place to explore. We hope you make this the best excuse to come enjoy our home for a few days!
You will fly into Reno, NV and will need to coordinate transportation to Incline Village, NV. We recommend renting a car for the most flexibility during your stay. Uber services are available from RNO to Incline Village. However, return trips from Incline Village to the airport can be unreliable, as drivers are often not available in the area.
Plus, having a car in Tahoe gives you way more opportunities to explore on your own! This place is a huge outdoor playground!
Flight
Reno-Tahoe International Airport
You'll fly into RNO Airport (maybe stop for some brunch at Arnie's Cafe or Great Full Gardens) and then travel across Mt. Rose Highway (Hwy 431) into Incline Village. Mt. Rose Highway is a mountain highway that takes you into the Tahoe Basin. It is a windy and elevated road so be ready! The views are beautiful, take your time.
