Question

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside on the front lawn at the Barn at Chaumette. The reception will be held in the Barn, which is open air. In the event of rain, the ceremony will also be held in the Barn.

Are children allowed/invited?

Answer

Unfortunately, as much as we'd love to invite ALL of our friends' children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. We hope that you will understand this decision and that you will take the opportunity to have a kid free get away and still join us on our special day!

A wedding during a pandemic?

Answer

First of all, your health and safety are our top priority, and we completely understand if you are not able to attend. We want all of our guests to feel safe, so here are the precautions that will be in place: the venue is outdoors, but everyone is still encouraged to maintain adequate social distance. Please bring/wear a mask if it makes you feel more comfortable. Hand sanitizer will be provided and encouraged. We also encourage those who feel sick to stay home, even if you have mild symptoms. Thank you all in advance for your cooperation!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested. Since the ceremony and reception will be held in an open air environment, we suggest being prepared for cooler temperatures as the sun sets.

For family only:

Answer

We will be taking most family photos prior to the ceremony, so we ask that family members be photo ready and at the Barn at 3:40pm on Saturday May 1!

Question

Do we need IDs in order to be served alcohol?

Answer

Yes. PLEASE BRING YOUR IDs. The bartenders are required to check your ID so don't forget it!
