Dillon and I have quite the funny story of how we met. As you all might know, we both attended Western Carolina University. (Go Cats!) I was working at the apartment complex he was moving into. Months pass and he ends up coming in to my office wanting to speak with me, words were exchanged and we'll just leave it at that. A few months later I told his then best friend (who was my coworker at the time) that I thought Dillon was a cutie. She of course ran back to let him know and that was the slow burn story of how we started getting to know each other. He was supposed to ask for my number, but I guess he was quite nervous so I ended up sending the first text. We talked all. the. freaking. time. After Thanksgiving, we both made our way back to WCU and he came over to my apartment with flowers. I knew from there that I was going to love him forever and ever, flowers are every girls weakness. We ended up hanging out basically every day, going to the mall, cooking in the apartment, doing everything together. Flash forward to December, he ended up graduating and I met his wonderful family for the first time (not even on girlfriend status yet) and that's when I knew things were really getting serious. We ended up going to his hometown of Cherryville NC (where we now live) for NYE and celebrated with his hometown friends. I felt like I immediately fit in with them all, everyone was so fun, kind and so so nice. Seeing him around his friends made my heart burst. On 12 o clock on the dot, he asked me to be his girlfriend, and I of course said YES! Ever since that day, you'll find Dillon and I attached at the hip, unless he's golfing lol. He's truly my best friend and I couldn't imagine life without him. To forever and ever, amen!
