The Tenney’s Coming May 2026

Like every great modern love story… it started in the DMs. Matthew actually DMed me four times before I finally saw his messages (oops). On September 29th, I replied, and his very first words were, “You’re gorgeous,” followed by, “Are you a Christian?”—which honestly told me everything I needed to know about him right then and there. From that moment, we never stopped talking. We texted all day, every day, until on October 19th, 2024, he asked me to be his girlfriend. And just like that, what started as a simple DM turned into the sweetest love story.💐🤍

Matthew planned out a day just for the two of us, beginning with a relaxing adventure. We started off with a riverboat cruise along the Sacramento River, just hanging out, talking, and enjoying the nice weather. It felt really peaceful and simple, which is exactly our vibe. After the cruise, we walked down by the little beach along the river. That’s when Matthew asked me to photograph the geese (lmao) so he could get on a knee behind me. When I turned around I was so excited and happy. I was shocked in the best way, and of course I said yes. The rest of the day was honestly perfect. We went to dinner, then randomly ended up at Marshall’s to buy Christmas pajamas, and finished the night at the movies. It wasn’t fancy or over-the-top, just a really sweet, fun day that felt completely like us.🫶🏽
