Do you have any hotel recommendations?

We have hotel blocks at Frederick's Homewood Suites and Courtyard Marriott, and their addresses and discount codes can be found in the Travel section of the website. Frederick also has Airbnb and VRBO options.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests may arrive beginning at 4:00 p.m. The wedding ceremony is scheduled to start promptly at 4:30 p.m. And keep in mind the saying: early is on time, on time is late, and late is death.

Yes, both the ceremony the wedding reception are taking place at Glen Ellen Farm.

Yes, Glen Ellen Farm has ample parking available (but shuttle service will be provided; see below).

Cocktail attire is strongly recommended for the wedding ceremony and reception. All other wedding events (welcome event, after party, and day-after brunch) are casual attire.

Hey, it was either a Friday in 2023 or a Saturday in 2024. None of us are getting any younger, so we went with sooner rather than later. Look on the bright side, you still have the whole weekend after the wedding.

Are we having black-flamed candles and spiderwebs at the wedding? No. Would we be upset if people dressed up in costumes for the after party? No.

Maryland weather is unpredictable so please keep an eye on the weather reports and plan accordingly as the ceremony will be outside and the reception in a tented space. If the weather is uncomfortably cold, the tent will be closed and heaters turned on.
