It all started with a simple right swipe (thanks, dating apps!). After a week of texting and long phone calls, Cameron and Hannah met for dinner at Triple J, where the conversation flowed effortlessly. One drink turned into a stroll downtown, and soon, they were laughing over cocktails at Bodine’s. It wasn’t long before Cameron asked if he could hold Hannah’s hand—and from that moment, their love story began.
Cameron asked Hannah (again) to be his girlfriend and she happily agreed!
After a game night with Cameron's brother, Chase, and sister-in-law, Rissa, Cameron and Hannah just couldn't help but say they loved each other as they said their goodbyes by her car. If you're wondering who said it first, the answer is technically Cameron but Hannah says it's debatable.
Hannah met Cameron's parents on a Father's Day trip to Lubbock. They had a great day of games, laughter, and lemon bundt cake. In July, Cameron met Hannah's parents in Dallas over sushi and sake. We were so excited to meet each others' parents and we had a blast!
Hannah and Cameron moved into their brand-new house with the help of some very generous siblings. Hannah, Cameron, and Toby settled in nicely to their new home.
Cameron surprised Hannah with a New Year's Eve proposal, at about 5 minutes after midnight. It was a perfect moment surrounded by fireworks, in front of their house, with Toby in Hannah's arms. Cameron and Hannah's grandma tricked her so she was truly shocked to see him down on one knee! It was a great start to a new year!
We can't wait to celebrate our next chapter with you all when we get married in September!
