Will I need a car?

Answer

Downtown Charleston is very much a walking city and most places can be reached with a 10- 15 min car ride or a 20 min walk. Parking can be expensive so if you plan to stay downtown we recommend taking an Uber or Lyft from the airport and using the same car ride services to get around town. If you do decide to rent a car, please note that it takes a little bit to get used to the roads. There are a ton of one way streets. In most areas you merge on the left and then have to get over 2-3 lanes to get off on the right

While we love your kids, our wedding is for adults only with the exception of those included on the formal invitation. We want everyone to enjoy their night and relax. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time to celebrate!
