Island Packers Cruises - Oxnard
Go whale watching! Even if you don't see any whales, you will at least see dolphins! Alternatively, if you are a hiker or adventurer, spend the day on Santa Cruz island. The hikes are wonderful and the ocean is crystal clear. There are island foxes that are as small as house cats. You can also rent snorkel gear and kayaks. But make sure to pack LOTS of snacks and water, as there are no restaurants or shops on the island.

Ventura
The harbor has the best fish tacos! Main street Ventura is a wonderful place to go get a cup of coffee, or shop and thrift.
Ojai
Ojai is a small town nestled in the mountains. There are sweet shops along with wineries and a local brewery called Topa Topa. If you are a book lover, there is a very unique bookstore called Bart's Books which is Katie's personal favorite. It is a refurbished home with books throughout, both outside and in.
Tarantula Hill Brewing Co.
Local brewery with food and ample seating. Check their website for events! They usually have something new every week!
Old Town
Small downtown of Camarillo. You can find Zander's game house, Topa topa brewery, coffee shops, restaurants and some shopping.
