There are a lot of great eateries in Frederick: Wine Kitchen (American), Isabella's (Spanish, tapas), Ayse Meze Lounge (meze style, Eastern Mediterranean), Black Hog BBQ (ribs, brisket, chicken), Brewer's Alley (pub food), Thacher & Rye (new American cuisine)
Frederick is a quaint, charming historic town with over 200 specialty shops, art galleries, museums and eateries, all surrounded by nearby mountains, farms, orchards and vineyards (aka Frederick wine trail). It is also a fun place to explore- take a 10-mile historic bicycle loop through the historic town or tour the 40 block historic town which includes the National Museum of Civil War Medicine and the Monocacy Battlefield. Or just take a relaxing stroll through its parks or the Carroll Creek Riverwalk. For more details, see: https://www.tripsavvy.com/things-to-do-in-frederick-4036498
