We're married, but we still want to have a big party and celebrate with you!!!

After finding each other on Bumble with Robin's clever first message asking about Sean's doggies, they met for coffee in East Sacramento. Robin noticed Sean looked so surprised when she walked in the door. She was cuter than her pictures. With Sean doing most of the talking, they talked for more than an hour. Then he invited her to dinner at Hook & Ladder in Midtown Sacramento. Next, he made her an amazing dinner and a cheesecake. He was trying to reel her in. He kept telling her he wasn't going anywhere. They found they had so much in common, from movie dialogue to opinions on good and bad drivers to outlooks on life. They were so excited! He invited her on a trip to San Francisco in September 2021, and they went to the Giants game. Unbeknownst to Sean when he bought the tickets, it was the 2 for 1 airplane ticket voucher giveaway. The trips had to be booked within a couple days. After having dated for only a couple months, they decided to roll the dice and booked two week-long trips months in advance. They came up winners! Their affection for each other grew, and they had fantastic trips to Boston in November 2021 and Maui in January 2022. They enjoyed being together and liked the idea of spending their lives together. It became a plan. They had been talking about getting married, and the plan got fast-tracked when Sean shot a nail through his hand on April 15, 2022. They booked an appointment at the Sacramento County Clerk and married each other with a lovely civil ceremony on April 19, 2022. Soon after that, Sean and his dogs, Grisly Bear and Olive, moved in with Robin, her mom Mary, and her cats, Annie, Kimiko, and Maeve. It's a big, full house with lots of love, fun, and laughter. Robin and Sean feel so lucky that they found each other and get to build a life together. They're living happily ever after.
