We both went to the University of Arkansas — calling the Hogs and unknowingly walking right past each other for four years. Even though we had mutual friends and ran in the same circles, we somehow never met. After graduation, we both ended up in Dallas and that’s where our paths finally crossed. We met on Robin’s birthday weekend (Robin made the first move- thanks to a little liquid courage) and from the moment we started talking, something just felt right. Robin always joked that her dream was to find a Razorback… turns out, she just had to move to Texas to find him. From fishing trips and afternoons outdoors, to cooking dinners at home and trying every new restaurant we can find, we quickly realized that life is just better (and a lot more fun) together. We laugh constantly and never take ourselves too seriously — unless we’re talking about who is more known for running late to... well, anywhere! After a little over two amazing years, Sam proposed outside the church we attend here in Dallas — a place that’s become really special to us, and one where we hope to continue growing in our faith, our love, and our future family. We can’t wait to start our life together in Dallas with our two pups, Sooie and Fletcher — and we’re even more excited to celebrate with all of you!
