We're Finally Getting Married

We met at a bowling meet-up way back in 2012. He says he noticed me before at other meet-ups, but never talked to me. After talking for a little while, he asked me about my work. I stated, "I assist victims through the court process", and he said "Oh, you’re a victim witness director". If you could have seen the surprise on my face. NOBODY ever knows what I do when I say that. Come to find out he was in law enforcement so we immediately had something in common, the Criminal Justice System. I know, how romantic! We didn't exchange numbers that night but there is always social media. I found him on Facebook when I got home and sent a friend request. He states I made the first move. He accepted immediately and we began to chat on Facebook. Many hours later, we had learned a lot about each other, but we both had to get at least a few hours of sleep before we had to go to work. We exchanged numbers and I don't think we have gone a day since without talking to each other. After 12 years together, we are ready to finally say I do!
