Bamarang Bush Retreat

Your accommodation has all been taken care of and organized at the beautiful Bamarang Bush Retreat. Upon arrival Lauren and Robin will help everyone settle into their rooms. Feel free to follow the link to get a sense of the layout. There’s a communal kitchen and dining area where we’ll gather for shared meals, a lovely chance for our families to meet, relax, and get to know each other. As our wedding will take place during the cooler months on the South Coast, we recommend packing some warm layers or a cozy jacket. Most of our meals and gatherings will be held in the undercover outdoor area near the main house, so it’s best to be prepared if the weather gets a bit chilly.

Road Tripping to the Wedding

There’s plenty of space at the retreat for campers and cars, so if you’re planning to hit the open road and drive down, why not make a road trip out of it? Lauren and Robin have made this journey plenty of times and have lots of great recommendations for stop off points, cozy stays, and scenic spots along the way. If you’re thinking of taking your time and turning the trip into a little adventure, please don’t hesitate to reach out, we’d love to share our favourite places with you!

ARRIVING BY PLANE

The best airport to fly into is Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD). Our wedding is located on the beautiful South Coast of NSW, approximately a 2.5 hour drive from Sydney. If you’re flying in, we recommend renting a car for the most flexibility in getting around. However, if you prefer to take the train, you can travel from Sydney to Bombaderry Station, and we’d be happy to arrange pick-up and drop-off times for you.
