Travel Note
Note on accommodations and lodging on Beech Mountain
If you're attending the wedding, we suggest booking accommodations sooner rather than later - ideally booking accommodations that are on top of Beech Mountain and close to the venue (Overlook Barn, 830 Elderberry Ridge Rd, Banner Elk, NC 28604). Most places on the mountain have very liberal cancellation policies in case you are no longer able to join us for the wedding. Uber and other ride sharing apps are very limited on Beech Mountain. Parking is available at the venue, but vehicles must be gone after the event. For those staying on top of the mountain, a shuttle service is being arranged (note: depending on your location pick-up may not be possible). Specifics will be provided closer to the wedding, but please do not hesitate to reach out to Dominic, Robin, Paige O'Luanaigh, or Senah Andrews should you have any questions about lodging!
House Or Rental
Pinnacle Inn
We highly recommend booking The Pinnacle Inn. The condos are centrally located to all wedding related events as well as hiking, restaurants, and breweries. These are all individually owned, so we suggest looking at online rental websites (e.g. Vrbo, AirBnB, etc.) to find availability. Shuttle service will be offered here.

Best Western Mountain Lodge at Banner Elk
To book, you can reserve online at the link below by 05/25/2026. Due to limited bookings, we will no longer be offering shuttle service from the Best Western. We encourage guests to book accomodations on top of the mountain, specifically at the Pinnacle Inn.

Airport Recommendations
Tri-Cities Regional Airport (TRI) in Blountville, Tennessee is the closest airport to Beech Mountain, and is about 1.5 hours drive, or 60 miles away. Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) in Asheville, North Carolina is another relatively close option to Beech Mountain, and is about 2 hours drive, or 105 miles away. Charlotte International Airport (CLT) is the largest airport nearby and is about 2.5 hours drive, or 120 miles away.
