Question
What time should I arrive to the Wedding Reception?
Answer
Robin and Alexandra will be married in an intimate family ceremony earlier in the day. All other guests are welcome to join us at the reception celebration starting at 5 pm.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Country-Chic or Cocktail Party Attire. The wedding reception will be indoors/outdoors in the mountains across the street from Lake Cuyamaca, evenings are chilly so please bring a jacket, wrap or coat.

Do I need to bring a wedding gift?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. Should you wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution towards our constant home beautification would be sincerely appreciated.

Can I bring my children to the wedding?
Answer
We have chosen to have a childfree wedding. The venue and after-party venue are not suited for children. Please plan ahead for childcare.

How do I get to the venue?
Answer
The Reception will be held at The Ole Firehouse at Lake Cuyamaca. Address: 34560 Engineers Rd. Julian, CA 92036 Please note that this venue is an hour and a half away from the San Diego Airport. We strongly suggest to plan ahead of time when to leave to make sure you arrive on time. You can drive up through Ramona to Julian (it takes a little longer but less curves in the road). If you are staying in Julian or driving from Julian - keep driving through town (heading east). Or a little quicker drive but has lots of turns, drive HWY 8 east to the Descanso Exit - turn left then take the left turn to HWY 79 north - you will be driving through Cuyamaca State Park and arrive at the Lake Venue Ole Firehouse.

Is the reception holding an open bar?
Answer
Yes, we will host an open bar of beer, wine, and hard cider from 5 pm to 9 pm. After 9 pm any guests who would like to join the wedding party at the after party are more than welcome to come. This will be at the American Legion Hall in Julian, guaranteed continued music, laughs and dancing. Address: 2503 Washington St, Julian, CA 92036

Yes, there is a large parking lot to the left of the venue.
