Open Thursday - Sunday every week. It's a beautiful farmers market with a lot of good food and treats, as well as produce and flowers.

This store has been in Olympia for a very long time (40+ years). They are known for kitschy nicknacks and making their own own soaps, lotions and fragrances.
Burfoot Park
Robin's favorite park! It's also on the way to Boston Harbor. This park starts in the woods and ends on the beach. It's just lovely!
Boston Harbor Marina
Great place to rent kayaks! Also a nice drive especially if you also plan to hit up Burfoot Park on the way.
Priest Point Park
A good park, with playground for kids as well. A lot like Burfoot and closer to town, (but Burfoot is better in Robin's opinion!)
Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge Service Trail
A beautiful, flat, walking trail through a nature reserve in a marshy delta where the the Puget Sound meets the Nisqually river. Bring binoculars if you have them because there are lots of birds!
Percival Landing
You gotta walk along the boardwalk at Percival landing. There is a playground for kids at one end, and a weird kissing statue at the other. You might see seals in the water!
Heritage Park Fountain
Great place for kids in the heat of the summer!
Capitol Lake Park
This is a nice, flat walk around Capitol lake, with views of the capitol building and sometimes Mt. Rainier.
Watershed Park
Very close to Robin's mom's house, this is a beautiful little walking loop, surrounded by mossy trees.
Tumwater Falls Park
A really gorgeous and easy walk! Located next to the old Olympia Brewing Company.
Washington State Capitol Building
The grounds of the Capitol are really nice to walk around.
Bigelow House Museum
A historic house museum that Robin hasn't been to since she was a kid, but it was really cool back then and it's still a museum to this day!
Hands On Children's Museum
A SERIOUSLY good children's museum. It's big, hands on, and has indoor and outdoor activities. Highly recommend for guest with kids.
Olympia Film Society - Capitol Theater
For all our film geeks out there, this was one of the theaters that Ragtag Cinema in Columbia, MO was modeled after! You can see second run and indie films here. ALSO this has been a legendary venue for rock shows for decades.
Harlequin Productions
A really great local theatre company that truly is good. Not sure you would have time to see anything, but they do have performances of Blackbird the week of the wedding.
