We have chartered transportation to take guests to and from the wedding venue from the Hampton Inn for everyone staying there. Vans will be taking guests to the ceremony venue starting 45 minutes before the ceremony. And vans will be taking guests home starting at 12:00am until 2:00am. However, let us know where you decide to stay so we can plan for additional pick up and drop off points.

Yes! Piedras is a beautiful town and has a lot to explore. There are however some things to consider: - RENTAL CARS CANNOT CROSS TO PIEDRAS. - There are 2 international bridges, Bridge 1 and Bridge 2. Bridge 1 is closest to downtown Eagle Pass, the wedding venue, and Robie's mom's house. It is walkable, from downtown Eagle Pass to cross over to Piedras and walk around on that side. However, this bridge closes at 10:30pm, meanwhile, Bridge 2 is 24 hrs, though it requires a car drive to get there and once you arrive in Piedras from Bridge 2, it is best to get around in a car. - If you decide to stay in Piedras, please let us know so we can help you coordinate your stay and crossing strategies. Several of our friends and family members will be crossing back and forth for the festivities so it could be possible to carpool.
The thing about the border right now is that there are a ton of extra Border Patrol and Texas Guard in town along with work commuters and they tend to fill up all the possible housing in town. We have enough rooms reserved at the Hampton Inn for everyone, but if you would like to stay a little closer to the center of town, we recommend the Airbnb list and any of the hotels by the lake. And if you're not staying at the Hampton Inn, we recommend to book your stay as soon as you can before places get booked up.
