In June 2022 we crossed paths at a SPCTRM leader meeting for The Weekend Camp. We had noticed each other but were so nervous to actually introduce ourselves to each other. It wasn't until after The Weekend, at a gathering at Dion's, Andrew showed up late with no choice but to take the solo available seat in front of Sidney. We then began talking but Andrew was so nervous he spent the whole time talking to Sidney without actually looking at her. Later that night we both ended up at Collective YA, where we end up getting the chance to talk again and learn more about each other. From there our friendship began to grow and flourish.

Our first date was something special. We drove up to Sandia Crest to see the sunset. It was a long drive, but the conversations were never ending. When we got up to the crest we hiked over to the rock house to see the rest of the sunset. Losing track of time we then had to walk back to the car in the dark. We got to see the beautiful city lights and stars at night. After, we went to Wendy's and got chicken nuggets to dip in frosty's to end the night off. Something we both loved to do.

We made things official on July 29, 2022. After picking up our usual favorite chicken nuggets and Dr. Pepper from McDonald's. We headed to the rock house to stargaze and became official!

After a dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Andrew asked the big question at our favorite place during the Christmas season, under the lights at Calvary Church. Followed by a celebration with our closest friends and family.
