Christie & Tess met when Tess moved to Milwaukee just after university. They were roommates to start and became fast friends. There are people you meet who make such a beautiful impact on your life that you can't imagine what life was like without them. Christie is one of those people. Christie was the first to hear when Robert asked Tess on their first date, the first of her friends to meet him, & they quickly developed a friendship of their own. Christie has remained such a valuable person to Tess & Robert, & always will.

Brendan & Robert met their freshman year, living in the dorms at IU. From wild college nights to frequent visits to Milwaukee post college, Brenden has always been a cherished friend, and more, a part of the family. On one of those many visits to Milwaukee, Brendan was introduced to Tess & they immediately hit it off. Since, Brendan has been a close friend & confident to both Robert & Tess and to have him stand beside them on their wedding day was a no-brainer.
