To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone, our venue has a limited capacity. Therefore, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing this special day with our closest family and friends!

Are kids welcome?

This is an adults-only event (ages 21 and over). In accordance with the guidelines set by the Publishing House Bed & Breakfast, we regret to inform you that infants and children are not permitted. Thank you for your understanding!

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail attire is encouraged for our celebration. While a tuxedo or formal dress is not required, we kindly ask that you avoid jeans, t-shirts, and shorts. Thank you.

I'm traveling to Chicago from out of town. When should I plan to arrive in Chicago?
Answer
We recommend planning to arrive in Chicago by Saturday, October 12, 2024, ideally no later than 4 PM. This will give you plenty of time to settle into your hotel and join us for our welcome event later that evening. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Please plan to arrive no later than 4 PM. The ceremony begins at 4:30 PM.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
We highly recommend utilizing rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, or traditional taxis for your transportation needs. Due to the anticipated street closures associated with the 2024 Chicago Marathon, which coincides with our wedding day, public parking in the area may be quite limited. However, rest assured that the marathon will conclude before our ceremony begins. Thank you for planning ahead!

We recognize that some of our guests may have food allergies or dietary restrictions. To ensure everyone’s needs are accommodated as best we can, please email Rene Roberts at docsurglace@gmail.com no later than September 15, 2024. Please include your full name, details of any food allergies or dietary restrictions, and contact information.

Is the Publishing House Bed & Breakfast accessible for people with mobility needs?

We are pleased to share that our wedding venue is wheelchair accessible, featuring an elevator to assist guests with mobility challenges or those who do not wish to use the stairs for other reasons. We want everyone to enjoy our special day comfortably, so please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further assistance regarding accessibility.
