A very neat science center for kids and adults - it's our top recommendation if you'll be visiting with kids! This was one of Caitlin's favorite places as a child growing up in Columbus. If you plan a visit, you'll also get a sneak peak of our venue, as it's right across the street!
One of our top recommendations! It's a great place to grab a bite - especially if you're with a few people, as there is sure to be something to please everyone. Don't forget to try Jeni's Ice Cream for dessert - it's a Columbus favorite!
Based on the painting "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte." Featuring life-size topiary people, boats, and other shapes from the image, it is the only park based entirely on a painting.
Franklin Park Conservatory is a beautiful space to get away for an hour or two. Aside from the natural beauty of the plants, the architecture of the building is amazing and there are many Dale Chihuly glass pieces throughout the conservatory to discover.
An incredible and historic neighborhood in the heart of downtown Columbus. The address listed here will take you to the German Village Society, a visitor center for folks new to the area. But, we also highly recommend just walking around the neighborhood and exploring for yourself - some great locations are Stauf's for a cup of coffee, Fox in the Snow for a delicious breakfast pastry, and The Book Loft!
A great collection of art, with lots of modern and unique pieces. The Art Museum also offers lots of hands-on experiences for kids to enjoy. If you're looking for something to do after our wedding, they offer free admission on Sundays.
