Yes! Black-Tie Optional We suggest that men wear a suit and tie and women wear a floor-length dress, midi dress or dressy jumpsuit. We also encourage (not required) all our guests to wear neutral tones such as black, navy, grey, brown, tan, taupe, etc.
Yes there will be one shuttle going back and forth from the Hilton Garden Inn Preston to the venue. The first shuttle will leave the hotel at 2:40pm and the second shuttle will leave the hotel at 2:55pm. Those on the second shuttle will arrive shortly after 3pm which is totally fine! At the end of the night the first shuttle will leave the venue at 9:50pm. The second shuttle will leave at 10:15 pm.
We’re hoping for a beautiful September day so guests can enjoy both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Weather permitting, there will be open seating available both inside and outside. Since New England weather can be unpredictable, we recommend bringing a jacket just in case!
Because, really—who doesn’t love New Haven pizza? But in all seriousness, we chose a pizza truck so everyone can enjoy the night at their own pace, mixing and mingling freely without the formality of a sit-down meal.
Because we are opting for a more casual dinner i.e pizza, we might not be able to accommodate all dietary restrictions. We will do our best to make sure no one goes hungry! So please reach out if you think a grazing table or pizza might be an issue.
You’re welcome to reach out to Sean or me with any questions leading up to the wedding day (but let’s be real, Sean won’t know the answer so text me). On the big day itself, we’d love to stay in the moment and celebrate! If anything comes up, please contact a member of our wedding party—they’re a big group, so someone will be available to help!
There is a big parking lot at the venue if people choose to drive themselves.
All guests should arrive to the venue no later than 3pm.
Since the wedding ends early, we ask that everyone please join us back at the hotel bar to continue the party. Everyone is welcome to change into comfy attire at this point. However, if you partied too hard during the day, we understand if your bed sounds more appealing!
While we adore your little ones, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. We want our friends and family to enjoy a night out and celebrate with us to the fullest!
Since we’ve already made a home together, we don’t need many things, but we’ve added a few items to our registry for anyone interested. Truly, your presence is gift enough! If you feel compelled to give, we’d be so grateful for cash contributions to our honeymoon fund or future adventures together.
