5:00 Ceremony - Front entrance, outside on the lawn 5:30-6:30 Cocktail hour - Mansion museum and outdoors on the veranda/lawn 6:30-8:30 Dinner service, first dance + speeches - outdoor courtyard 8:30-11:45 Dancing & Desserts including photobooth - indoors in the FIKA restaurant space

Are there any museum rules we should know about?
Answer
To preserve the historic value of the museum Mansion, darker colored liquids will not be allowed in the mansion during the cocktail hour portion of the evening. The museum bar will offer a selection of Vodka, Gin, Tequila, Chardonnay, Seasonal White Wine, light colored beers and club soda. Darker colored drinks will need to be consumed outdoors during cocktail hour. Thank you for understanding.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same venue?
Answer
Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the American Swedish Institute 2600 Park Avenue Minneapolis, MN.

Is there parking?
Answer
Yes. Free on-site parking is available for all wedding guests. The American Swedish Institute parking lot is monitored. Guests may leave their car in the ASI parking lot overnight if they prefer not to drive after the celebrations. Please have cars picked up by 10am.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony will begin at 5:00pm. Please consider arriving by 4:45pm to give yourself time to park and find a seat.

Will the wedding be inside or outside?
Answer
The ceremony and dinner will take place outdoors in the ASI courtyard and front steps. The after dinner dancing and dessert will take place indoors. In case of rain or extreme weather, celebrations will be moved indoors within the Swedish Institute.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?
Answer
For those staying at the Homewood Suites, a shuttle will be provided. Stay tuned for details. For those local or staying elsewhere, Uber or Lyft are great options or driving to the venue - you're welcome to leave your car overnight in the ASI parking lot.
