Matron of Honor
Big Sister #2 - When you are Irish twins (only 11 months apart) and your mom dressed you alike until you were old enough to know better, of course you get to be the Matron of Honor! Mom to 3 fine young men, mega sports fan, and a great cook who, unlike me, learned how to cook some of our mama's best Filipino dishes. She's also a damned good nurse so if something ails you wedding weekend, be sure to look her up!
Best Man
The Brothers Henn!! One of the funniest people I know. A fantastic father to Checkie and Mac, a badass Manager at National General American United Liberty Freedom Insurance Co. Rob loves his kids, the Colts, the 500, golf, being a river person and hanging with me! I'm so proud of him, and I can't imagine anyone else standing next to me on this very special day!
Bridesmaid
Hometown bestie - We met at age 8, but our bond really grew in high school. We were partners in crime on the tennis and volleyball teams, clarinet and percussion sections, and student council, just to name a few. The antics continued through college and beyond. She lives in Orlando, is a mom of two, a sports nut and can still get around on a tennis court. She is an unapologetic Steelers fan, but don't hold that against her!
Groomsman
JonO! Marine Corps buddy (usually a bad way to begin a description). Jonny and I spent a couple of years one week in Japan. Wow! A demotion and and honorable discharge on the line, we pulled thru and stayed the best of friends! Every time we are together, be it a golf trip in Door County, going to the 500, or just a quick dinner while on business, it's like we have never been apart. A Wisconsin native and resident, Jon is a professional fisherman, golfer (not professional at all) and wonderful father to Kayla, his pride and joy. You rock JonO! Thanks for being part of our wedding!
Bridesmaid
Hometown Bestie - We became fast friends in high school and were roommates in college. She is well-traveled as she lived in Germany for 4 years and covered Europe from head to toe during that time. She's back home now - mom of 2, a guidance counselor, a killer piano player and still a travelling fool. We've gone on some wonderful vacations together, which I am so grateful for. I can’t wait until our next adventure!
Groomsman
A life-long friend, Rob is one of my favorite people! We go way back - to the early 80's at the east side Marriott where we both worked. Please don't ask him about my behavior back then, he will tell you... Rob had a full on mullet (He still does). Great friend, wonderful husband and father, terrific golfer who has an easy laugh that is contagious! Rob is a staple in my life, and my wedding wouldn't be complete without him.
Bridesmaid
Big Sister #1 - One of the nicest people you will ever meet. An operations analyst at Bank of America, she is all about friends, family and Chicago living. She shares my passion for travelling - she’s visited over half of the US states as well as 38 countries! I am so grateful for some unforgettable overseas trips together. If you need a travel recommendation, you need not look any further!
Groomsman
Everyone else was busy wedding weekend, so I called Chris... Kidding. Chris is one of my best friends! Terrific father and grandfather, unbelievable work ethic and crazy smart! I can't count how many times he has come through for me...help with my kids, use of one of his many vehicles, great advice when I need it. I'm so glad you and your wonderful bride Sarah will be with us on the big day! Thank you, Thank you!
Brother of the Bride/Usher
Big Brother - the very reason I was such a tomboy growing up. Everything from model rockets to baseball...I gave it a try because he was doing it! A Purdue grad, electrical engineer and all around nice guy. His hobbies include martial arts, cooking, biking and model aeronautics. Fun fact - his passion for model aeronautics actually took him to an international competition in Russia several years ago.
Brother of the Bride/Usher
Little Brother - One of the funniest people you will ever meet! He has one ginormous heart, especially when it comes to family and close friends. He is an avid golfer, tennis player and one serious Chicago sports fan. Blackhawks anyone...? I'm honored to have both of my brothers walk me down the aisle on my wedding day! NOTE: you may think you're seeing double that day, but no, they are not twins!
Officiant
College friend and one of the brightest, finest people I know. We met our freshman year when we shamelessly joined the Golden Key National Honor Society for the sole reason of beefing up our post college resumes. Oh the fun we had! It's still up for debate which one of us was the bad influence... Despite the shenanigans, he went on to grad school and earned multiple masters degrees. He currently does great things in leadership development. We are privileged and honored that he will be presiding over our ceremony!
