Quaint place just blocks from the church. Buy a coffee or ice cream, watch the trail bikers, and relax by the river.
Local brewery located near the ceremony space
Local coffee shop! One of Mackenzie’s favorites from back in the day. Closes at 2:00 PM, but great for a pre-ceremony coffee!
Riverfront bar near the venue
Good pub and restaurant (come hungry to the reception so don’t eat too much :)
Wine tasting and a beautiful farm
Great for both kids and adults, the Turkey Hill Experience is filled with tasting opportunities, photo opportunities and fun! Mackenzie used to work here all through high school in the taste lab (highly recommended getting extra tickets for that!)
Air conditioning and bathrooms along the river! Could be a festival for the 4th
This is an amazing walk through history with so many great antiques and collectibles! It also has a snack shop inside for those who want to sit down and take a break in the air-conditioning
Another great location with lots of fun and interesting things to take in!
Susquehannock Indians Museum including Native Lands Park. Susquehanna history boat tours may be available - book in advance! This park is located near the reception venue and offers beautiful views of the boats on the Susquehanna River.
So fun if you’re coming for the weekend! When you enter the park look at the castle looking building on the hill— Mackenzie and her dad used to work there! It’s a middle school
Only open on Tuesdays— this was Mackenzie and Roberto’s second date (and where they had their first kiss!) Highly recommend for a Lancaster country experience
Oldest indoor market in the country! One of Roberto’s and Mackenzie’s favorite spots
This is Robertos Favorite restaurant in Lancaster! Mackenzie and Roberto went on many dates here when she attended Franklin and Marshall College.
