If you are flying, we recommend flying into Charleston International Airport (CHS). While the island does offer complimentary on-demand transportation from 7 AM - 11 PM daily for guests staying on Kiawah Report properties, you will find a rental car helpful should you wish to explore the island on your own time in addition to any off-island destinations. Kiawah Resort does provide transportation to and from the airport for a fee and is subject to availability. Call either of the two following numbers to learn more. For guests staying in Kiawah Resort villas and homes, please call 843.768.2790. For guests staying in The Sanctuary, please call 877.683.1234. Below is a list of Off-Island Transportation companies that Kiawah recommends: Chauffeured Options: SC Express – 843-860-0009 Marquee Limousine – 843-530-3257 Coastal Connection – 843-810-1365 Charleston Black Cab – 843-216-2627 Charleston Limo LLC – 843-817-4003 Taxi Options: Kenneth Transporter - 843-568-0586 Yellow Top Cab - 843-819-0846 Charleston Green Taxi - 843-819-0846 Charleston Cab Company - 843-566-5757 Yellow Cab of Charleston - 843-577-6565 Uber/Lyft can get you to the island, but it cannot get you off or around the island.
IMPORTANT: Uber or Lyft does NOT provide transportation FROM Kiawah Island TO the airport. Kiawah is a private island accessible only to residents or those with reservations. Because of this and its distance from Charleston, ridesharing services are rarely available and cannot be relied upon. Please refer to the transportation information listed in the question above for alternative options.

Springtime on Kiawah Island can be somewhat unpredictable. The average high is 75 and the average low is 58. We may see a day in the 60s, but we may also see a day near 80. The Ocean Course is right on the water and will be breezy. Keep an eye on the weather as we get a bit closer, and let's hope for sunshine!
