Wedding Party

Michelle Collins

Maid of Honor

Michelle and the bride have known each other since middle school but their friendship really blossomed when they attended the same college, Florida State University. They became part of the same friend group, then roommates, stayed up late studying, went thrifting, traveled together, became adults, and supported each other in everything along the way. Michelle introduced Hannah to all the best reality TV shows, she’s a great DJ, and she is always the funniest person in the room. Michelle was there on Hannah’s first date with Rob and has spent the most time with them as a couple. Michelle is the first person Hannah goes to with any life updates, big or small. Michelle is a ride or die, incredibly encouraging, would never judge, very generous, and is a blessing to all who know her. Michelle is now a School Psychologist in St. Pete, FL.

Jordan Diaz

Bridesmaid

Jordan and the bride have known each other since freshman year of high school. She only attended the same school for one year before moving 45 minutes north. After becoming partners in taekwondo class, due partly to being similar in height, the friendship was so strong that the distance never mattered. Jordan was the still the closest friend throughout high school and attended many high school formals and sleepovers with Hannah. In college, Hannah flew to Florence, Italy to visit Jordan while she was studying abroad for a semester. Jordan has always been incredibly smart, independent, outgoing, and very sure of herself. She encouraged Hannah to come out of her shell in high school and is still a perfect example of self-confidence. Jordan is now a Physician’s Assistant in Los Angeles, CA.

Hayleigh Blaszyk-Shepherd

Bridesmaid

Hayleigh is the bride’s longest school-related friendship. In 8th grade, after Hannah experienced a difficult fallout with her only close friend in middle school, Hayleigh offered a seat at her lunch table and it sparked a lifelong friendship. Hayleigh spent many weekends at Hannah’s house, mostly staying out of trouble. Hayleigh also became a pilot after graduating high school and she took Hannah on a personal flight in her grandpa’s small plane. Hayleigh is incredibly strong, despite experiencing many difficulties throughout her life. She remains optimistic and is always smiling, even while delivering bad news. Hayleigh would do anything for the people she cares for and shows up regardless of life’s circumstances. Hayleigh is now a dispatcher for a small passenger airline.

Diana Nelson

Bridesmaid

Diana and the bride grew up as neighbors across the street from each other. They shared similar hobbies and endless core childhood memories. Diana and Hannah went on adventures with their dogs, kayaked along the Alafia river, painted designs on their nails, sang every Bruno Mars song, took horseback riding lessons together, and so much more. Despite the distance since leaving for college, Diana and Hannah are still able to share unique experiences, such as wedding planning! Hannah will be a bridesmaid at Diana’s wedding just one week after Hannah’s. Diana has always been down for anything and truly enjoys life and all it has to offer. Diana is the least judgmental person, an animal lover, keeps the party going, and is always offering a hand to friends in need. Diana is now working for USAA in San Antonio, TX.

Haley Creamer

Bridesmaid

Haley and the bride met freshman year of college at Florida State University. Haley was part of that friend group Hannah was praying for when she first arrived on campus. Haley was the calm and rational voice of the group and always happy to watch reality TV shows together on the couch. Haley and Michelle were Hannah’s roommates for the last 2 years of undergrad and she assisted in the mission to find the best church in town. Hannah also had the pleasure of being one of Haley’s bridesmaids in 2022. She is super friendly, sweet, respectful, disciplined, and determined. Haley is the last friend from college still living in Tallahassee and is now a Board Certified Behavior Analyst working primarily with foster families.

Jacob Walz

Best Man

Jacob is the bride’s younger brother and one of the first members of Hannah’s family Rob met when they started dating in 2020. They became fast friends and have spent the last five years traveling with the family, staying up late fishing, and (mostly) staying out of trouble. Whenever Rob and Hannah visit home, Hannah can run errands or make plans knowing Jacob and Rob will happily hang out for hours. They’ve shared plenty of adventures—Jacob has visited Rob in Tallahassee several times and fit right in with his friends, like he’d been part of the group all along. They’re inseparable on family vacations, and although they’ve always felt like brothers, soon they’ll officially be family. Jacob is easygoing, funny, and always up for a good time. And if you’re ever in the market for a boat in the Tampa area, he’s your guy.

Alex Gutowski

Groomsman

Alex and Rob met in 2017 as random college roommates, but they clicked immediately. Over the years, they became more like brothers than friends. They’ve shared countless highs and lows, from holidays spent with each other’s families to long nights talking about life. Alex taught Rob how to fish, gave him his first cigar, and helped patch each other up after a few of their many “spirited” adventures. They lived together for three years, and through it all, Alex somehow managed to stay patient and keep Rob calm when his passionate side showed through. They balanced each other perfectly—Rob got Alex out to social events, and Alex made sure everyone got home in one piece. Known as the “dad” of the friend group, Alex was the dependable one, always giving rides to class when the weather was bad or making sure the group made good choices. He even accomplished the impossible: getting Rob to tolerate country music.

Gregory Harris

Groomsman

Greg and Rob met in college and have been like brothers ever since. They’ve shared everything from unforgettable trips to Nicaragua and Miami to countless late-night debates that occasionally turned into friendly wrestling matches—complete with a few battle scars and maybe even a hole in the wall or two. Whether in the gym, at a football game, or just hanging out, Greg, Alex, and Rob were inseparable throughout college. Greg became close with Rob’s family over the years and has seen a side of Rob that few others have. He’s loyal, genuine, and always up for a laugh, even when he’s the target of Rob’s playful “rage bait.” Their friendship has been through it all—road trips, wild stories, and plenty of memories that will last a lifetime. That’s Rob’s brother, through and through.

Payton Horn

Groomsman

Rob met Payton at Florida State University through Eric and Alex, and before long they became roommates and partners in countless college adventures. Payton is the easiest person to convince to take the party to the next level and quickly earned his title as the group’s wildcard. Together they’ve gone on memorable road trips—complete with questionable playlists and ridiculous car games—and shared plenty of late nights out in Tallahassee. Payton has always been the kind of friend who keeps things fun and unpredictable. Outside of the good times, he’s an incredibly creative artist who designs his own clothing and branding for other companies.

Devonn Polk

Groomsman

Rob met DeVonn through Alex—they were classmates, and one day DeVonn just showed up at the house and never really left. Before long, he was there every weekend, PlayStation in hand, joining the crew for marathon gaming sessions in the living room. He became part of the family without anyone realizing it happened. Rob later visited DeVonn in Chicago, where they sampled incredible food, tried Malört for the first (and probably last) time, and kicked off the trip with a meal at Portillo’s, of course. Whenever Rob visits Tampa, they go fishing together, and at this point, DeVonn calls Rob more than Hannah does. At parties, people used to ask if DeVonn lived at the house—and while the answer was technically no, it might as well have been yes. Rob had the honor of standing beside him at his wedding, and knows they’ll be friends for life. Here’s hoping his future kids are tall enough to get drafted—so everyone can eat good.
